Not Every Post Can Be Literary Gold

Ready, set, rapid-fire:

I got inspired last night and sat down to write. Not on the novel I'd started for NaNoWriMo (which was awful, by the way), but on something new. And in three hours of writing that flowed really easily, I'd already written more than I had on my NaNoWriMo project. Which means? I have a new project for that damned writing challenge. There's an excerpt up at my NaNoWriMo page if you're interested.

I'm officially nocturnal now - I fall asleep when it's light out and wake up when it's dark. Today's wake up? 5:21pm. Woot.

I really need to clean my room. I have clean laundry from over a week ago that just needs to get put away, and I'm overdue to clean out some old clothes and donate to charity. Which means that it's time to buy new stuff!

No news on the job front as yet... Will keep you updated. Any readers live in/near Boston? I'm thinking about moving there.

And finally, I offer you some more Halloween pics, because they amuse me and so maybe they'll amuse you too:

Nora in her angel wings. Also known as "the winged hippopotamus." Sad, but somewhat true.

Tenny as a little devil. Doesn't he look evil? Okay, maybe he just looks pissed that we put a stupid costume on him. It's hard to tell.

Day 5 - done. I'm out.

Boston is a lot closer than the Bay area, and on my list for an upcoming trip. Maybe you lead me. :)

I will be sad if you move =(. But my sister lives in Boston, if that helps.

I live near Boston! And I have a cat - well, two, actually - who look a lot like Nora. I'm embarrassed to bring them to the vet, so huge are they...

I don't live in Boston, but I wish I did! It is one of my favorite cities (although the traffic is horrible!).

Hey miss - sorry I've been missing from commenting, been so behind with my blogs since the weekend away!

Glad to hear the new project is coming along - there's no way I could be writing a novel right now too. I'm stuffed! You're awesome. What's this about moving to Boston? I hope it isn't before next August, lol!

Love the kitty pics, and phwoar Jitta! :P

Rainbow Brite. Now there's a blast from the past. Jitta looks adorable. Not everyone icing their ankles can look so cute, but she's pulling if off easily.

I love your title, btw. Literary Gold is something I'm currently on the hunt for, that's for sure.

Yeah to all the commenters who want to come to Boston. I am from there and am always happy to show people around.

Lara - that excerpt was FANTASTIC. I have had a hellish day and am EXHAUSTED but I started to read it and was rivited from the first line. Please keep us updated on how it goes. I would love to read more.
