I Love You Guys, But I Also Love Sleep

Okay, quick n' dirty:

First day went well. Yes, I sort of pissed off a parent, but it was mostly miscommunication and all worked out in the end.

My job is VERY HARD. It takes a LOT OF TIME. But I love it, and that makes it totally worth it. (Today, for example, I was at school for 14 hours. But I was still smiling when I left.)

There is nothing better than being able to work with your best friend. Tpiglette is awesome and even went and got me coffee this morning while I was teaching. (She didn't have a class that period.)

Hot Teacher Guy (or HTG as I've abbreviated him on Twitter) keeps my days looking mighty fine. Now if I can just convince him that we're made for each other...

And, last but not least, because you all seemed to enjoy it yesterday, here's my outfit from today:

If you want more regular updates - albeit very brief ones - you should definitely follow me on Twitter. That's the place to get all the HTG updates through the day - when he walks by my room, what he's wearing, and how many times I "accidentally" run into him in the halls.

So give me the quick n' dirty on your lives, because heaven knows I have no time for reading blogs these days. What are the highlights (or lowlights) of the past few days in your worlds?

Hooray for awesome fulfilling jobs (and co-worker hotness)!

I've mostly making ice cream and putting off writing thank you notes. Also, did you know that you need letters of rec. to sub.? That just seems silly.

YAY! I'm happy for you (and I love your sense of style).

Not too much that's hot happening in the world of Chili. We're all busy preparing for the beginning of school next week...

Glad you had a great first day (even if it was long) and are excited about going back for a second. Now I feel like my comments need to be grammatically correct before I post or they might be graded.

I had my nieces for the weekend. We all had a great time, but boy am I tired.

Love the outfit.

One of my closest friends is a teacher. She says if you can make it through the first year, it's awesome after that. Have been following the HTG Tweets. Found it interesting that last night he talked to you before he left. Maybe he wants to run into you as much as you want him too.

Me? am brokenish and now typing with one hand.

Hmm. Spend most of the time laying on the couch enjoying the solitude of no requests for snacks, water, juice, toys, games, TV, etc. And thinking about what really needs to be done and completely ignoring it.

Wait, wait, wait...I ALREADY follow you on twitter...does that mean I'm ahead of the "cool kid" curve???

So glad to hear it's going well.

I've been busy setting up my classroom and scheduling home visits with my families. I'm not even officially back at school yet, and still it's madness!

Will you please post a picture of your outfit everyday? Even if it's a repeat? lol. I totally needed you today when I went shopping for school clothes. Your style is awesome.

Go teachers!

Life for me currently consists of a draining day job, drawing to recharge myself, and non-stop olympic coverage!
