A Case of the Mondays

I know it's Monday morning when I spend two minutes sitting at a stop sign waiting for the light to turn green.

How do YOU know it's Monday?

Quiet house (kids are back in school) and rondevous day. Don't ask.

But Mondays are great.

I don't say a word to anyone at breakfast, actually manage to pay attention in lecture, and don't do ANYTHING other then go to class because I have Tuesdays off and I can wait and do everything then.

The house looks like the scene of a train wreck, because the maid is coming!

The new pictures of you on that, um, interesting site you're helping out with are really, really cute. :)

Perhaps you could help the writer with some of the text, though.

When one of these three things happen:

- I go to the loo and realise my knickers have been on inside out all day.

- I go to adjust my tank top and realise it's been on backwards all day

- I feel slightly stinky and realise I have forgotten to put deodorant under one arm.

On a really good day I can combine all three, because I SMRT.

I know it's Monday because I'm longing for the Friday evening that seems so far away.

I know it's Monday when Mr. Chili starts yelling at the girls to GET READY, ALREADY, because the BUS is gonna BE HERE ANY MINUTE!!!

When I spend the whole day thinking it's Tuesday. Sigh.

I am even more tired than a normal weekday morning AND I am uber pissed off that I have five days of lesson plans to do.

Oh, and I am PRAYING for a snow day.

When I only wore a tanktop under my winter coat to work, and not a real shirt! I had to do some emergency shopping on Monday morning! oopsie
