An update on William, who posted his struggles with Chron's:
Unfortunately, William's condition has taken a turn for the worse. He has been hospitalized for a necessary surgical procedure, and apparently, odds are non-ideal. I know only vague information as of now, but I do know that he could use a lot of prayer and well wishes. He has a long road of recovery ahead.
An update on my oppressive loneliness coming soon...

Sending good wishes to your friend with Crohn's disease (William, not me ;-). Hope the surgery went well and that recovery is good.
Just so everyone who's been concerned knows, I am finally home, after just short of two weeks in the hospital. More details later (if Lara feels like posting them and I have the energy to write it up), but I had a huge abcess in my intestine and had to have it resectioned. I'm recovering, but should eventually be better than I was before surgery.
