Tpiglette, one of my nearest and dearest friends, is getting married today to the wonderful Baleeted! I have the honor of not only being one of the bridesmaids, but also the person who introduced the bride and groom, many years ago. Despite my own recent wedding blues, I am so thrilled to be a part of their special day. Last night, as we lay in bed (all the bridesmaids and the bride-to-be spent the night together in the hotel), I whispered to her, "I'm so happy for you!" And I really and truly am.
Many blessings to the bride and groom today - I love you both!
And for all of you reading, any advice for the newlyweds? They are both readers, so be gentle! ;)

My advice for the newlyweds: Don't be in such a hurry to meet all your goals as individuals or as a couple that you forget to enjoy getting to know each other better and each moment you have together. And don't be afraid of the occasional fight; as long as you don't attack one another, but instead attack the issue at hand, fights can be a good thing.
Best wishes!
My best advice: LAUGH!
Always treat each other with respect and dignity. Communicate a lot, and really listen. Every night you should hold one another for at least 10 minutes - just stopping and basking in your love is better than anything.
Such a cute couple!! I wish them the BEST!!
aww, you guys all give such good advice! tpiggy and balee: i hope you're listening (you know, after you return from the honeymoon, that is). ;)
Congratulations tpiglette and balee! That is a really nice picture. I don't have any advice, not having any experience in that department. I'd probably ask the beautiful couple for advice instead. :D
*nudge* Turn on your RSS feed again. *nudge*
Oh, that's for you, not the newlyweds.
CL - bloglines seems to believe my feed is already available. let me know if you continue having probs, though.
What a cute couple! :)
Advice = KEEP DANCING. You have found your lifetime dance partner - now go out and dance! =D
Thank you all for the well wishes and advice, and an especially big THANK YOU to Lara for being such a special part of our day!! I couldn't have asked for more supportive and helpful bridesmaids. Thanks for connecting us on the dance floor wayyy back then! (Opening = good times...like hilarity in Kimball lounge at 4am. ;) ) K, we love you and appreciate you LOTS! :)
