Because depression seems to have caught me by surprise tonight, I have no "real" post for you. Instead, I am requesting that you provide me with some laughs. What's Bubs thinking in this picture?
If I stand on tip toes you think I can fit one of those dials in my mouth? Do they really think they keep me from twisting? I'm like a toddler of Nimh, I'm just staying out of trouble to lull them into a false sense of control. Think I could get down on my knees and create a series of saliva halos along the window of the oven? Think mom'd notice if snagged a muffin and used it as a sailboat in the great white bowl regatta in the bathroom? I'll pit it in a fancy Lara shoe to dry.
okay, all, i think OP wins, at least in terms of making me laugh the hardest. :)
c. the s. h. - see, that's no fun, because it's what he was actually thinking. also, i definitely had no energy to get up and go for a walk. it's quite the conundrum: walking would probably make me feel more energetic, but i don't have the energy to walk. what to do?
OP - yay! you win! you cracked me up. :)
anonymous - oh, poor big bird. though bubs is more into elmo, so that might be more worrisome to him.
tali - yours was very amusing as well. i doubt either of the other two occupants of the house cares enough to try to cut in that line. ;)
aly - awwww... maybe if he understood the concept of my not feeling well, he would think that.
sassy - sorry about OP's thievery. the second thought's pretty good though. and, i admit, something i sometimes still wonder, too.
julia - well, i admit i found yours funny anyway, which is equally bad and wrong probably.
bud - ha! i'm not sure if daddy has ever been "in the doghouse," but if he was, i sure hope he wasn't sleeping in the oven!
amanda - wow, he's thinking a lot! i like the idea of the porcelain regatta, but i do NOT like the idea of using my shoe as a drying rack. hrmph. :-P
mom - he already gets big people food from it... when he feels like eating it.
jen - mmmm... meat...
california teacher guy - this was also an excellent submission for getting laughs. "bun in the oven" - ha!
jitta - yeah, with his tendencies, you'd think that *would* be his first thought. "how can i get a vacuum cleaner in there?"

"I can't wait to eat a muffin."
By the way, try eating some chocolate while going for a vigorous walk. Maybe that will help your sudden depression. Don't know, but I'm curious.
"Did Hansel and Grettel have to preheat before they pushed the witch into the oven?"
Mum ... What have you done to Big Bird????
"So far so good, no one has challenged my position as First In Line For Muffins...yet!"
I wonder if I can bake Lara a "feel better" cake?
;)
op stole mine!
okay, well, didn't STEAL as they posted first but... STILL.
hm...
"So, let me get this straight. You put goopy stuff IN and take muffins OUT. How's that work EXACTLY?"
You don't want to know what caption came into my head. It's wrong. Bad and wrong.
"Is this the doghouse where daddy has to sleep sometimes?"

"Someday I, too, will get big people food from this place".
"Boy I hope that's meat." ;-)
"Is that what Mommy was talking about when I heard her say to a friend, 'There's another one in the oven'?"
"How do I clean this?"

In defense of my submission, I was attempting a double entrende in the spirit of your previous post.
