Pay It Forward

While scrolling through blogs via the NaBloPoMo Randomiser, I came across Pincushion Points, who had a post that completely caught my attention. It's a meme, of sorts - here are the rules (taken from PP):

I will send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange. I don’t know what that gift will be yet and you may not receive it tomorrow or next week, but you will receive it within 365 days, that is my promise! The only thing you have to do in return is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog.

Well, I'll do one better. I will send a homemade gift to ANYONE WHO WANTS TO JOIN. If you a) leave me a comment asking to join, b) are willing to give me your mailing address, and c) are willing to put a PIF post on your own blog, then you will get a hand-crafted Lara David gift.

Doesn't that sound awesome? You know you want to play this game - it's a game where everyone wins! :)

In NaNoWriMo news (Remember? I'm supposed to be writing a novel this month? Yeah, I kinda forgot too...), there's a new excerpt up here. For those who read - and actually remember - the previous excerpt, yes, it is from the same story, but no, it is not sequential with the previous scene. They're actually quite far apart.

Please enjoy, while I go beat my head against a wall and try to write some more of this damned thing.

Wow, that is some powerful writing over there at the NaNoWriMo site. You'd best be working on that past this month, because I really want to read more now. :)

ps - I'm in for the homemade gift thing!

I've been coming and reading. So there!

How about a shoe picture post? Little update on the closet of a hip knockout who knows her way around the dacne floor.

Come on, give us a little vicarious fun.
