C'est Vrai

Yes, I am still alive, even though I haven't updated since Sunday. I'm just very tired and still fighting off the last remnants of this cold.

Yes, I am thinking of writing a book, as mentioned in the last post. Thank you to everyone who expressed support for this exciting endeavor - I'm having fun with it so far.

Yes, it is almost February. I can't believe it either.

Yes, my job, while very challenging, is still awesome and I'm loving it.

Yes, I'm still single, and thanks so much for bringing that up. Again.

And yes, after I hit "Publish Post," I will be going to sleep. At 9:45pm. Don't hate just because you wish you could do the same.

What about now? Are you still single now? Huh?

And now?

The fishbowls at the top of your blog are AWESOME!

I too want to write the great American novel, though I expect it could turn out to be the mediocre mass fiction attempt. My goal this year is just to research and outline. I felt that could be doable. What's your strategy?

Glad you are still loving the job.

Can't wait to read your book.

I'd read a parenting book written by you! Go for it!

I didn't even get home until 10. Is this the same thing you were writing before?

bob - Yep. Yes. (Yes.)

andrea - why thank you! i love the fishies, too. and no novel this time from me, though i have worked on a few different ideas in the past. this one is a book about raising kids, non-fiction, and so far i'm just writing as ideas come to me. for me, research is to fill in the gaps, which may or may not be the best strategy, but it's what i'm doing for now. :)

kaiser - see above, where i respond to andrea. not at all the same thing as before. VERY different. i'll maybe post an excerpt soon, though, to get feedback.

Congrats on writing a book! I keep thinking that I'd like to do that and then getting sidetracked by important things. Like video games.

Okay, this is going to sound weird because I just came over here after seeing your comment on NPW, simply because I don't often see other Laras without a U in their names. So, hi! Also, I love your blog design!
